How We Review Games at Jade Core
People ask how we decide what to cover and what those ratings mean. The short answer: we play, then we talk, then we write.
Every game gets at least a week on a real device. If one of us bounces off early, that goes in the review honestly. We'd rather tell you a game got boring than pretend otherwise.
Ratings are subjective by design. They reflect how a game felt to the person who played it most, not some objective scale. Two editors might score the same game differently, and that's fine.
We don't take payment for scores and we don't run paid reviews. If that ever changed, we'd say so loudly at the top of the page.
